EMMANUELLE GORDA

Dancer, choreographer, teacher.

Was born in France, where she studied ballet for ten years in Rosella Hightower s School, in Cannes, and in Marika

Besobrasova s School, in Monte-Carlo.

In contemporary dance, she was trained by various choreographers such as Michel Raji, Christine Gerard, Jackie

Taffanel, Christian Trouillas, Regis Obadia, Pierre Doussaint and others.
 

As a professional dancer,worked for Michel; Raji,Jackie Taffanel, Christian Trouillas, Sidonie Rochon, Pierre Doussaint,

Laurie Booth.
 

She spent two years in England, dancing in Brighton for Steve Parry an Dancers Company.
Along with her company work, she has set and performed many solo pieces, the latest dated July 2007.

She has been teaching contemporary dance for twenty years, in many different dance centers, working with children,

teenagers and adults, from beginners to professionals.

Taught contemporary dance in the French National Circus School(C.N.A.C Chalons sur Marne) ,where she was offered

to set choreography for graduating students.


She has now been living in Moscow for six years, working as a dancer and a choreographer in POVSTANZE Dance

Company, setting choreographies in theatre performances, and teaching release technique.
